Grimaldi shipping line was established more than 50 years ago by Grimaldi, a well-known Italian family. The family is still actively involved in management and development of the company.

The Grimaldi shipping line considers itself the developer of the “Roll on/Roll off” type of transportation. Grimaldi provides its services for cargo traffic on the directions towards the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Grimaldi has consistently modernised and upgraded its vessels (21 new ships were ordered in year 2001). As of today, Grimaldi has one of the most modern RO-RO shipments in the world.
